Cookie and Website Storage Notice

This notice covers the public marketing site. The signed-in Moodwell application uses separate storage required for account and product functionality.

Effective September 18, 2026

Does the public website use cookies?

The public marketing site does not use advertising cookies or store your waitlist email in browser cookies or local storage. When enabled, Plausible measures website traffic without analytics cookies or persistent browser identifiers. This notice does not describe the separate cookies needed to sign in to the Moodwell application.

Marketing-site measurement

Moodwell uses Plausible, when configured, to measure aggregate page visits and controlled events such as app-store clicks, beta or waitlist successes, QR-panel openings, feature navigation, and demonstration playback. Plausible is configured for aggregate website measurement rather than cross-site advertising profiles.

Form and security storage

Joining a platform waitlist or applying for a beta sends your answers and consent to Moodwell. We store the applicable consent version, submission time, and signup page in our database, separately from product accounts. Server-side abuse protection limits repeated requests; it does not place your email in analytics or browser storage.

External destinations

Links to Google Play and the signed-in Moodwell web application take you to services with their own cookie, storage, and privacy practices. Their settings control storage used on those destinations.

Your browser controls

You can use browser controls to remove or restrict website storage. Blocking required storage on the signed-in application may prevent authentication or product features from working. For questions, email privacy@moodwell.ai.
