One of four, and protein under five days. Let's not fix both. Which one do you actually have room for next week?
Idris Bello, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

An illustrative check-in: one of four planned workouts completed, with protein below target for five days. Earlier records in these examples are imagined.

One workout landed out of four. Before we call that a discipline problem: the weeks you hit three, you were logging protein by Tuesday. The order might matter more than the effort.
Nell Okafor, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Warm and unhurried

Nell Okafor

Asks before she tells.

Warm and unhurried. Nell would rather change a plan that does not fit you than watch you keep missing it.

Specialty
Making the plan fit you
A good fit when
You want a thoughtful question and room to answer in your own words.

An illustrative check-in: one of four planned workouts completed, with protein below target for five days. Earlier records in these examples are imagined.

One of four this week. What got in the way? I'd rather change the plan than have you keep failing a plan that doesn't fit.
Tomas Rivera, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Practical and matter of fact

Tomas Rivera

Shrinks the plan until it fits.

Process over ambition. Tomas cuts the plan down to what your actual week can hold, then holds you to the smaller thing.

Specialty
Building a manageable routine
A good fit when
Your plans tend to ask more of you than your week can hold.

An illustrative check-in: one of four planned workouts completed, with protein below target for five days. Earlier records in these examples are imagined.

Four was the plan, one happened. So four isn't the plan. Next week is two, and the only rule is they're on days you're already home by six.
Yuki Tanaka, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Quiet and precise

Yuki Tanaka

The fewest words that work.

Quiet and precise. Yuki says the minimum and leaves the choosing to you.

Specialty

One of four. Protein under five days. Which of those two do you want to talk about?
Grace Abara, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Steady and accepting

Grace Abara

Good at restarts.

You came back. That's the part that's hard to do, and you did it. One workout is one workout, not zero. What does Monday look like?
Sam Halloran, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Conversational with dry humor

Sam Halloran

Dry, and on your level.

Peer, not authority. Sam takes the drama out of a bad week without pretending it was a good one.

One of four. I'm not going to pretend that's a great week. I am going to ask what Tuesday looked like, because Tuesday is where it went sideways.
Priya Raman, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Observant and analytical

Priya Raman

Reads across your layers.

Pattern-first. Priya notices when your food, training and mood move together, and tells you which one moved first.

Specialty
Connecting patterns across layers
A good fit when
You want to explore how the records you share move together.

An illustrative check-in: one of four planned workouts completed, with protein below target for five days. Earlier records in these examples are imagined.

One workout, and protein under five days running. Those two usually move together for you, and they did in June too. Your Mindfulness check-ins were the earliest signal both times.
Beatrix Lindqvist, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Calm and measured

Beatrix Lindqvist

Thinks in seasons.

Long view. Beatrix puts this week next to the last twelve and tells you whether it is a wobble or a direction.

Specialty
Keeping the longer view
A good fit when
One difficult week can make you lose sight of your broader progress.

An illustrative check-in: one of four planned workouts completed, with protein below target for five days. Earlier records in these examples are imagined.

One of four. Look at the twelve weeks instead: this is your third light week out of twelve, and the other nine held. A light week isn't a trend yet.

Accountability, straight. Marcus repeats the commitment you made back to you and asks whether you meant it.

Specialty

You committed to four. You did one. I'm not going to soften that. What I want to know is whether four was ever the right number, or whether this week was the exception.

Alma Reyes

Starts with how you felt.

Body-first. Alma asks about energy, appetite and sleep before she asks about numbers, because that is usually where it started.

An illustrative check-in: one of four planned workouts completed, with protein below target for five days. Earlier records in these examples are imagined.

Protein under five days usually shows up in your energy before it shows up anywhere else, and one workout out of four tracks with that. What were you eating on the days you skipped?
Elias Roth, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Questioning and thoughtful

Elias Roth

Questions the story.

Skeptical, in your corner. Elias remembers what you told him last month and asks whether it is still true.

Specialty
Examining assumptions

Sofia Marchetti, a fictional Moodwell AI coach

Constructive and encouraging

Sofia Marchetti

Finds the part that worked.

Constructive. Sofia starts from whatever went right, however small, and builds the next week off that instead of the gap.

Specialty
Building on what worked
A good fit when
You want to find a small, real success and use it to plan the next step.

One landed. It counts, and it's the one to build off. Protein's the easier fix of the two, so let's start there and leave the workouts alone this week.

How do I choose a coach persona?

Start with the specialty and tone shown on each card. Read the example voice to find a style you would like to talk with, then bring a specific situation or question. The portraits represent AI personas with different conversational styles, not human coaches or clinicians.

Does my coach already know everything I have logged?

No. Available context depends on the layer and coaching experience you open. Explain anything important that is missing, including the goal or constraint you want the reply to address. Check the response against your records, and review proposed changes before saving them.

Do coaching conversations use AI credits?

Yes. Coaching is an AI feature, and the credit amount depends on the action. It is separate from manually recording a workout, meal, dose, or journal entry. Your plan includes an AI allowance; the Pricing page explains the trial, monthly credit refresh, and optional top-ups.
